I call him that because he used to be paranoid. Well, sort of. He couldn't or wouldn't recognize people, and it was kinda disconcerting to stumble downstairs bleary-eyed in the morning and meet a black monster baring a mouthful of fangs at the bottom of the stairs. He's reformed now, though; he actually let me pat him when I went home recently. Guess it was just a phase he was going through.
